Views:73|Rating:5.00|View Time:25:6Minutes|Likes:4|Dislikes:0 Hey, Disney Darlings! The 2018 Disneyland Festival of Holidays is here! And our stomachs are ready to taste all the delicious food it has to offer and give you a review of all our holiday favorites!
Come along on our journey through the wonderful world of disney and see all the offerings this years holiday festival has to bring!
With our special guest, Disney Darling Danicawhatica, we’re off to taste all the foods of the 2018 #DisneyCaliforniaAdventure #FestivalofHolidays. Grab your tasting guides and let’s get started!
Our first stop is the Paradise Garden Grill where Danica indulges in a delicious trio of Street Tacos with black beans and rice. While we eat we also get to listen to some live music the festival has to offer!
Our next stop is the delicious Spicy Celebrations, to get our hands on some Nashville Hot Fried Turkey with Dill Pickles. Will my intolerance to spice be able to handle the flames of Tennessee?
While Danica and I talk about our love of pickles, we head off to Grandma’s kitchen to get some famous Grandma’s Recipes, Beef Pot Roast on a Potato Roll and Candied Yams with Marshmallow Cream! Mmm.
After that, we head to the tucked away Winter Sliderland to have some memories of an East Coast Family Christmas with a Roasted Turkey Slider with Cranberry Sauce and the crowd-favorite, Holiday Stuffing Mac & Cheese!
We rank our favorites on a 5-star system so you don’t want to miss what we have to say about all of these items!
After some filling food, we’ll head deeper into the park to explore all of the holiday favorites and meet some of our favorite characters!
Make sure to give this video a thumbs up if you liked it and subscribe to our channel and join us again for Next Stop:Disneyland!

Views:2041|Rating:5.00|View Time:8:53Minutes|Likes:8|Dislikes:0 Disneyland Resort: Disneyland Park
Upon its opening on July 17, 1955, Disneyland introduced a new concept in family entertainment and launched the theme park industry. Disneyland presented 18 major attractions on its Opening Day including the Mad Tea Party, the Jungle Cruise, Autopia and the Mark Twain Riverboat, and it featured five themed lands: Fantasyland, Adventureland, Tomorrowland, Frontierland and Main Street, U.S.A.
Today, Disneyland is an evolving 85-acre American institution featuring more than 60 adventures and attractions in eight themed lands, having added New Orleans Square in 1966, Critter Country (originally Bear County) in 1972 and Mickey’s Toontown in 1993. Construction on a future Star Wars-themed land began in 2016. Favorite Disneyland attractions include Pirates of the Caribbean, Star Tours, “it’s a small world,” Indiana Jones Adventure and the mountain range of thrill rides: Matterhorn Bobsleds, Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Splash Mountain. Entertainment is presented throughout the park, with nighttime spectaculars, stage shows including “Mickey and the Magical Map,” “Remember… Dreams Come True” fireworks and the beloved Main Street Electrical Parade, returning for a limited time encore performance on Jan. 20, 2017.
Location: Disneyland, “The Happiest Place on Earth,” is located approximately 27 miles southeast of Los Angeles. Its hometown is Anaheim, California.
Size: The magic lands and public areas of Disneyland occupy 85 acres. Guest parking for approximately 10,000 vehicles is available in the Mickey & Friends parking structure, which opened June 27, 2000. At that time, it was the largest parking structure in North America.
MAIN STREET, U.S.A.
Here contemporary life gives way to the quaint and reassuring charms of turn-of-the-century America. It is the essence of hometown life that greeted the dawn of the 20th century.
This realm of exploration is a collage of the world’s far-off places and uncharted regions. Would-be explorers can discover the tropical magic of Polynesia (Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room), the wilds of Africa (Tarzan’s Treehouse), the exotic rivers of the world (Jungle Cruise) and the steamy jungles of India (Indiana Jones Adventure).
A robust panorama of America’s pioneer past, from the bustling riverfronts of the Mississippi and Missouri Rivers of the late 1700s (Columbia Sailing Ship, Mark Twain Riverboat, Pirate’s Lair on Tom Sawyer Island) to the dusty southwest deserts of the 1880s (Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Golden Horseshoe Stage).
NEW ORLEANS SQUARE
The Paris of the American frontier, the Crescent City as it was more than 150 years ago. Within its winding streets and quaint shops, elegance and charm mingle comfortably with Dixieland jazz, restless spirits (Haunted Mansion) and marauding buccaneers (Pirates of the Caribbean).
Things are “mighty satisfactual” in this shady glen, nestled in a lazy corner of the backwoods. Guests visiting this bend of the river can find their very own “Laughing Place” (Splash Mountain) as they witness the “Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah” antics of Brer Fox and Brer Bear as they try to outwit wily Brer Rabbit. Also residing in this land are Pooh and his many friends in the Hundred Acre Wood (The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh).
Enchanted tales of childhood adapted from classic Disney animated films come to life in this timeless realm of imagination. Within this magical Old World setting, guests can fly to Never Land (Peter Pan’s Flight), see an elephant fly (Dumbo the Flying Elephant), navigate an out-of-control motorcar (Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride) or attend a mad tea party (Alice in Wonderland).
Bursting with color and frenetic energy, this “town” is a 1930s Disney cartoon come to wacky life. From the bustle of downtown (Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin) to the charm of its residential neighborhood (Mickey’s House, Donald’s Boat, Chip ‘n Dale Treehouse), this civic hub is a slice of “reel” life.
This intriguing realm of imagination, discovery, and wonder features a landscape of whirling spaceships (Astro Orbiter), zooming rocket vehicles (Star Tours: The Adventures Continue, Space Mountain) and racing roadsters (Autopia).

Views:793|Rating:3.75|View Time:5:5Minutes|Likes:3|Dislikes:1 For the first time, Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort is also taking over Disney California Adventure Park, with areas such as Buena Vista Street and Cars Land getting all dressed up for holiday fun. The recently-opened Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! attraction gets some additional thrills as it transforms into Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark each night. Additional attractions will receive spooky fun updates, and there will be plenty of Halloween decorations, themed food and beverage, eerie merchandise and more. Combined with favorite Halloween traditions at Disneyland Park including Haunted Mansion Holiday, Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy and Pumpkin Festival on Main Street, U.S.A., Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort is now twice as much fun.
Halloween excitement begins as guests first enter Disney California Adventure. An oversized, shadowy silhouette of Oogie Boogie, the villainous boogeyman from “Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas” ominously leers over guests passing through the main entrance. In a spooky but fun moment, Oogie appears to unleash a swarm of bats which sound as if they fly down Buena Vista Street towards Hollywood Land, Cars Land and beyond. Guests will even see the bats circling the tower of the Carthay Circle Theatre.
Cars Land Haul-O-Ween
Everyone’s favorite Cars characters have transformed Radiator Springs into their own Haul-O-Ween celebration. Scary the “Scare-car” greets guests at the entrance of Route 66 for a special photo opportunity. Each of the Cars has decorated its establishment for the season. With Fillmore showing off his Jack-Oil-Lanterns and ghostly folk art, Sarge displaying his “pump-kins,” and a Spider-Car spinning webs all over the outside of Flo’s V8 Café, the town of Radiator Springs will indeed be transformed into Radiator Screams!
Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark
Fans were thrilled when Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! opened in May at Disney California Adventure Park, and now they’re in for a scary Halloween treat as the attraction is transformed nightly into Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark. During the day, guests continue to experience the excitement, fun and six different ride experiences on Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! However, each evening the attraction transforms from Mission: BREAKOUT! to Monsters After Dark. The Collector’s Fortress goes dark, alarms sound and all-new lighting on the exterior of the Fortress alerts guests that something inside has gone awry.
Buena Vista Street Halloween Décor
Along Buena Vista Street, guests will enjoy Halloween decorations in store windows and in Carthay Circle, they’ll see a new 10-foot-tall statue of the Headless Horseman himself, holding up his jack-o’-lantern head to the sky. New, themed background music further creates the appropriately eerie, but still fun, mood.
Mickey’s Halloween Party Mix-In
Disney California Adventure also will be featured for the first time as part of the pre-party mix-in for Mickey’s Halloween Party, a separate-ticket event that features special entertainment, Disney characters in their Halloween attire, and trick or treating at locations throughout Disneyland. This year, a ticket to Mickey’s Halloween Party has even greater value as guests will be able to visit Disney California Adventure as well as Disneyland during the three hours prior to the beginning of the party in Disneyland Park.

Views:749|Rating:5.00|View Time:21:30Minutes|Likes:19|Dislikes:0 The Holidays have started at the Disneyland Resort and a tradition is back, the Christmas Fantasy Parade.
This parade has been around for a long time and it never gets old, it’s such a great show and it gets you in the spirit of the holidays with its charm and warmth.
A couple times in this video I made a couple cuts for the parade gaps. There were a few very long gaps, longer than usual for crowd crossing so I just meshed those moments together.
Hope you enjoy the Christmas Fantasy Parade.
The Holiday offerings run now through January 8th 2019 at both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure.
