  1. Great point. Systemization creates optimizations necessary to scale performance. Following your proven model eliminates the learning curve so until I exceed your performance, I won't alter your methods.

  2. Excellent stuff. Great thoughts for my business as I scale up (for the second time). Gonna hire, schedule, and train smarter this time, to produce a more well-oiled machine with less need to improvise and more plain, simple "doing" of the most important tasks at the right times

  3. The reason we have standard operating procedures and automated systems. Six Sigma very few defects. Preceded by japan auto dealers TQM with Edward Deming.

    Amazon has amazing operational efficiency! They have an exponential volume of orders to fulfill daily while maintaining customer-centricity and satisfaction.

    Easier to optimize software to scale than your staff. More variables and inherent unpredictability with humans.

  4. ** feed back** Like that you kept it simple and you illustrated who did what, like Henry Ford and Amazon. I liked that you showed what would happen if you tried to be bespoke and not machined. This makes sense now in knowing why Scrum or Agile approach works and why DevOps is in demand at the moment. I see how it works when you take away the human element or can strategically optimism a person and their time making your company successful, but are we not also creating another issue where we might just have people who eventually not feel fulfilled in their jobs and we have high staff turn over?
    Its helps that the topic is under 6 minutes, keeps focus on the particular topic.
    Great to see a smile in a presentation as well and you are comfortable in your skin.
